The new Batman film is set to be directed again by Christopher Nolan who did the latest Batman film ‘The Dark Knight’. The new film is set to be released in 2010. A film insider said “Eddie’s a fantastic addition. Everyone’s excited to see what he does as The Riddler.” And also said “Chris wasn’t sure if he wanted to do another movie but as soon as he decided to, he got the wheels in motion.” Shia Lebouf apparently is playing Robin, and Rachel Weiz is set to play Catwoman. Christian Bale will continue playing Batman and Michael Cain will still be playing Bruce’s Butler/Assistant. It’s also been revealed that the new film will end on a cliff-hanger. Heath Ledger who famously played the Joker in the latest Batman film, who tragically died in January, is up for a Golden Globe nomination and may even get an Oscar.
